How fortunate that I found this blog page.  I remember reading about this work of Allwards.  I was blown away when we saw the Vimy Memorial this past spring.  My husband  and I were in Normandy for D-Day and in the week leading up to the celebration, spent time at Canadian memorials to WWI.  You should re-run this article because Vimy is so powerful.  Stratford and Canadians need to know more about Vimy, and Allward.  Did you know the Vimy site is compiled of 250 acres?
